Following a spur-of- the-moment decision to attend the Upright Citizens Brigade’s ASSSSCAT 3000 show while on holiday to New York City, Jim knew long-form improvisation was his thing.

An improv obsessive who has trained and performed on local, national and international stages throughout his improv career, Jim is a graduate of Chicago’s iO training program, as well as the ImproACT and ImproMafia training programs. He is passionate about advancing the profile of improv throughout Brisbane and the world, and sharing this art form with new people.

Jim regularly performs around Brisbane with Big Fork Theatre and Impro Mafia, including performances at the Brisbane Comedy Festival, Bris Funny Fest, the Anywhere Theatre Festival, the Brisbane Fringe Festival, and the Brisbane Festival. He has also told stories for Brisbane institution Yarn: Stories Spun in Brisbane and dabbles in sketch comedy from time to time. He also watches entirely too much professional wrestling.
