Chris is an improviser, sketch and stand-up comedian. He spontaneously took an improv class in 2011 and was instantly obsessed with performing comedy.
Chris has graduated from the renowned iO Theatre, in Chicago, after being taught by some of the best improvisers in the world. He started stand-up comedy in the 2015 Raw Comedy competition, where he bombed hard. However, two years later Chris’ unique and enjoyable storytelling style has made him a rising star in the Brisbane comedy scene, as well as one of the most promising up and coming comedians in Australia.
Apart from performing all over Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, including running his own popular comedy room Magic Mic, Chris has performed in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Brisbane Comedy Festival, the Anywhere Theatre Festival, the Brisbane Fringe Festival, Bris Funny Fest, the West End Festival and the Brisbane Festival. His shows included productions such as Speed: The Movie, The Play, BangNation, West End of Future Past: A Comedy Walking Tour and Undercover Festival Cops.
You can catch Chris doing really well (or poorly) in comedy rooms most nights of the week. He also likes dogs and banh mi.
