In Grade 5, inspired by a weekend of Leslie Nielsen, Mel Brooks and Monty Python films, Taylor wrote a short story so shockingly slapstick it was censored by the teacher. Fast forward 15 years and she is still following her comedy dreams.
After studying to become a town planner Taylor took an improv class in 2012 and was hooked. Since then she has trained at the iO Theatre Summer Intensive in Chicago and performed improv at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Brisbane Fringe Festival and Anywhere Theatre Festival. She regularly performs with improv groups across Brisbane and helped found Big Fork Theatre.
Since late 2014 Taylor has discovered a passion for sketch comedy and regularly writes and performs. She enjoys experimenting with different styles and forms and will give anything a go! She is excited to see where the future takes her and is proud to call the Brisbane comedy community home.
