About our theatre

Big Fork Theatre is the only dedicated improv and comedy theatre in an accessible space in Fortitude Valley! Our shows and classes are conducted in the theatre.

  • Big Fork Theatre is located at level 2, 252 St Paul’s Terrace, Fortitude Valley. Part of a larger building, our space consists of a 96 capacity black box theatre, a classroom and a bar with refreshments and light snacks available.

  • Big Fork Theatre aims to create an accessible space for performers and audience. Our venue has wheelchair access through the main entrance (entrance on the corner of Grenier St and St Paul’s Terrace). There is a lift up to the second floor, with accessible bathrooms on level 2. The stage of the theatre is also wheelchair accessible.

Have other accessibility needs? Get in touch with us at admin@bigforktheatre.com - we’re committed to ensuring our theatre is accessible to all.

  • Big Fork Theatre is located within a short walk fromof the Fortitude Valley train station, many bus lines and several taxi ranks. There are a number of loading zones for passenger drop off on the block that the theatre is located on and there is some street parking around the venue.

For dinner before the show, we recommend any of the fine restaurants in the Fortitude Valley precinct, but we really like the vibe at Soapbox.
