The BIG and the small of it
Presented by Lindsay Drummond of Improv Hub (North Brisbane/Moreton Bay/Online) as part of the Big Fork Comedy Festival 2025.

This workshop explores how a focus on making BIG of the small or small of the BIG things can give us great comedy and plenty to work with. Making a big deal of something small or a small deal of something big is a fast and easy way to inspire a comedic scene. No matter how experienced you are as an improviser, seeing comedy in this way can give you plenty to work with, guaranteed laughs, and an easy way to build characters, relationships and heighten the stakes! This super-fun workshop will have you feeling like a comedy superstar!

Workshop Length: 3 hours
Recommended experience level: Beginner (less than 12 months experience)
Participants need to know: There will be some sidecoaching.
